I made these metal tiles a while back, and posted some of them again today in one of my groups. I have been asked how they were made, so I thought I'd do a quick tutorial. Making these is just waaaay too easy, but it's tons of fun to play with. There are only a couple of steps involved in making these metal tiles, and you can make lots of variations.
Paint Shop Pro. I used version 7.04 but if you are familiar with PSP, you should be able to convert the tutorial without problems. You can download the latest PSP version demo here. Flaming Pear Super Blade Pro. You may download a demo here. My Super Blade Pro metal presets. I'm including 2 different presets for you, each will give you a metallic effect, but are slightly different. You may download them both here. Place these in the location where you keep your SBP presets. A seamless tile. You may create or use one of your own, or you may use mine. Just right click on it and save to your computer.
Step 2. Open Super Blade Pro and apply the "pracken_metal" preset. If you're using a different tile than mine, you may want to adjust the lightness of your finished product. And that is ALL there is to it! Easy huh? Here are a couple more tiles made with the "pracken_metal" preset.
