My selection file. Place this in your PSP selections folder (or another location of your choice). You may download it here. My color chart. Right click on this and save it to your computer.
Optional: Sparkle tubes. You can find a nice selection of sparkles here or here.
Step 1. Open a new image 150 x 275, black background. Copy your color chart and paste it as a new layer onto your canvas. Move it to the top out of the way. When you need a color, just click on it with your eye dropper tool. Step 2. Add a new layer. Load selection 1 (go to selections>load from disk - then navigate to the location where you placed the selection files. Flood fill with color #1. Keep selected.
Float the selection (selectons>float; or "Ctrl=F"). You'll see marching ants around it. Apply a cutout using settings in the screenshot. Keep selected (keep selected until I tell you to deselect - you're doing this so the colors you'll be adding will stay inside the lines of your ghost).
Step 3. Add a new layer. Set your foreground to color #2 and background to #3 (to make it easier to alternate between the two colors). Choose your airbrush, using the settings in the screenshot. Spray on lines of colors 2 and 3, similar to mine. Then spray on white in the centers of some of the lines.
Step 5. Your ghost is basically done. I decided to add sparkles to mine. To do that, add a new layer and place it underneath your ghost. Choose your picture tube tool and navigate to the sparkle tube of your choice. Adjust the size downward as necessary. Then just draw the sparkles downward from her garment.
Step 6. When satisfied with your ghost, delete the color chart and background layers, and merge visible layers. Save as a psp file. And that's all there is to it. Your ghost is ready for spooking!
