This tutorial is for the table and chairs. All of the other items in the kitchen can be found on the main dollhouse tutorial page, which you will find here. If you haven't already done so, please go there and orient yourself to the dollhouse tutorials, and find important information you'll need to complete the series.
Paint Shop Pro. I used version 9, and have made comments as appropriate for PSP 7 users. I didn't test it in PSP8, but you shoud be able to complete the tutorial in that version as well. You may download the latest PSP version demo here.
You'll also need my color chart. Right click on it and save it to your computer (or alternatively, click on it and drag it onto your PSP canvas).
Step 1. Open a new image 400 x 250, white background. Add a new layer. Load selection 21. Flood fill with color #1. Apply an inner bevel, using settings in the screenshot.
Step 2. Add a new layer. Load selection 22. Flood fill with color #2. Float the selection. Set your foreground color to #3. Apply cutout, using settings in the screenshot (right click on the shadow color and choose color #3 from the list of recent colors.
Repeat the cutout but change the horizontal and vertical to -1.
Step 3. Add a new layer. Load selection 23. Flood fill with color #4. Apply inner bevel.
Step 4. Repeat Step 3 for selection 24.
Step 5. Add a new layer. Load selection 25. Flood fill with color #1. Apply inner bevel, same as before.
Step 7. Repeat Step 6 for selections 26 and 27.
Step 8. Add a new layer. Load selection 28. Flood fill with color #4. Apply inner bevel.
Step 9. Add a new layer. Load selection 29. Flood fill with color #4. Apply inner bevel.
Step 10. Delete the color chart and background layers. Hide all layers except the table pieces. Merge visible layers. Hide this layer and turn the chair layers on. Merge visible layers. Save both the table and chair as psp files.
Now continue on through the kitchen tutorials, in order (go here to find the tutorials index, and scroll down to the kitchen section to find the others). Once you have all of the items in the kitchen section complete, then go here to assemble it.
