This tutorial is for the coffee mill (it's there on top of the refrigerator). All of the other items in the kitchen can be found on the main dollhouse tutorial page, which you will find here. If you haven't already done so, please go there and orient yourself to the dollhouse tutorials, and important information you'll need to complete the series.

Paint Shop Pro. I used version 9, and have made comments as appropriate for PSP 7 users. I didn't test it in PSP8, but you shoud be able to complete the tutorial in that version as well. You may download the latest PSP version demo here.

You'll also need my color chart. Right click on it and save it to your computer (or alternatively, click on it and drag it onto your PSP canvas - just make sure you put it on a new layer).

Step 1. Open up a new image 200 x 200, white background. Copy and paste the color chart as a new layer and move to the top of your graphic out of the way. When you need a color, just click on it with your dropper tool.

I've drawn an outline for you to use - open it up now (it's in the materials you downloaded). Copy it and paste as a new layer onto your canvas. You will put each color on a new layer and all of these layer will go underneath the outline layer.

This is going to be sort of paint by number. I've numbered each section of the coffeemill with the number of the color you'll use to flood fill it.

You will follow these steps for each color you apply:

• Make the background layer active. Choose your magic wand and click inside the section..
• Expand the selection by 1 (selections>modify>expand).
• Add a new layer and move it underneath the outline layer.
• Flood fill with the appropriate color.
• Apply an inner bevel, using the settings in the screenshot.

When done, delete the color chart and background layers. Then merge visible layers. Save as a psp file.
