I drew all of these tutorials from scratch, but I have made selections for you to use. There is a bit of shading and simple drawing involved in this tutorial, but I've provided a lot of screenshots to guide you through. I assume that you have a basic working knowledge of PSP.
Paint Shop Pro. I used version 7.04 but if you are familiar with PSP, you should be able to convert the tutorial without problems. You can download the latest PSP version demo here. My seamless fabric tiles (or you may use your own if you wish). Download mine here.
Step 1. Open up a new image 350 x 400, background color of your choice. Step 2. Add a new layer. Load selection 1 (go to selections>load from disk - then navigate to the location you placed the selection files). Flood fill with black. Contract by 2 (go to selections>modify>contract - type in "2"). Flood fill with #836D55.
Step 3. Add a new layer. Set your foreground color to #504336 (darker brown) and your background color to #E2D9D0 (lighter brown). Choose your airbrush and use the settings in the screenshot below. Spray the darker color around the outside edges and the lighter color inside.
Step 4. Choose your retouch tool/smudge brush and use the settings in the screenshot below. Smudge the colors around. When smudging, start on the outside and work around, and then move to the inside and work out.
Step 5. Add a new layer. Load selection 2. Flood fill with black. Contract by 2. Flood fill with the "03terryclothwhite" tile.
Step 6. Add a new layer. Set your foreground color to a darker blue color #808B93. Use your airbrush and spray a bit on - this arm will be hidden when the final graphic is assembled, so you don't need too much color.
![]() Step 7. Use your smudge brush to smudge the color around a bit.

Step 9. Add a new layer. Load selection 3. Flood fill with black. Contract by 2. Flood fill with 836D55. Keep selected. Add a new layer, Choose your airbrush and spray on the same colors as before (504336 and E2D9D0). Smudge as before.
Step 10. Add a new layer. Load selection 4 (the other ear). Repeat step 10 above. Keep selected.
Step 11. Add a new layer. Set your foreground color to pink #FFC0FF. With your airbrush, spray some color inside the ear (lower the size if you need to). Smudge the color around.
Step 12. Add a new layer. Load selection 5 (this is the head). Flood fill with black. Contract by 2. Flood fill with brown #836D55. Add a new layer, use your airbrush and spray the same colors as above. Smudge as above. It should look similar to this.
Step 13. Add a new layer. Load selection 6. Flood fill with black. Contract by 2. Flood fill with white. Duplicate this layer and place it on the other side of the face. Rotate right about 10 degrees
Eeeeek! Looks a bit like an alien doesn't it? Step 14. Add a new layer. Set your foreground and background colors to black. With your preset shape tool set to ellipse, draw a small circle and place it inside the eye. Step 15. Repeat this for the other eye.
Step 16. Add a new layer. Choose your draw tool, set to freehand line, size 1. You'll draw bits on the face now. When drawing the cheek and mouth bits, change the line size to 2. To draw the nose, set your foreground color to black and your background color to any shade of pink you like. Draw a little triangle for the nose.
Step 17. Add a new layer. Load selection 7. Flood fill with black. Contract by 2. Flood fill with the "01terrycloth" tile you downloaded.
Step 18. Add a new layer. Set your foreground color to #808B93. With your airbrush, spray color in a pattern similar to mine (make the brush smaller as you make those lines at the front). When done, smudge the color, similar to this.

![]() Step 21. Add a new layer. Load selection 9. Flood fill with black. Contract by 2. Flood fill with 01terrycloth pattern. Add a new layer and use airbrush to spray on some add shading, same color as in previous step (decrease airbrush size down to do the lines). Smudge.

Step 23. Add a new layer. WIth your draw tool, freehand line, size 1 (foreground color set to black, background color null), draw some stitching similar to mine. Draw a little circle for the button.

Step 25. Add a new layer. Load selection 11. Flood fill with black. Contract by 2. Flood fill with brown #836D55. Add a new layer, Airbrush same colors on as before (E1D900 and 504336). Smudge as before.

Step 27. Add a new layer. Place it underneath the body layer. You're going to make a tail for this bunny. I'll give you two ways to do this. If you have Eye Candy filter, use option 1. If you don't have Eye Candy filter, use option 2. Option 1. Choose the preset shape tools, ellipse. Set your foreground and background colors to black. Draw a small circle. Contract by 2. Flood fill with 03 terrycloth pattern. Apply Eye Candy jiggle with the following settings:
Option 2. Set your foreground color to black and your background to 03terrycloth tile. Use the draw tool, freehand line, size 2 and draw a tail. Apply shading if you wish.
The music in the background is a tube that comes with PSP (I believe so anyway). When you are satisfied with your results, save as a mater .psp file with all layers intact. That way you can go back later and change things around as you wish. And that's it, all done! I hope you enjoyed this tutorial, and please feel free to provide any feedback!
